A gift in your will

Making a will is an important step, and one you may not have considered.  

However, when you do a gift in your will to Crohn's and Colitis New Zealand Charitable Trust is a way of making a difference to the health of many thousands of New Zealanders in the future. It will prevent pain and suffering, educate and undertake research into IBD in New Zealand.

Your gift can be directed to our ongoing 'I Can't Wait' programme, funding childrens camps, research work or for the general work of CCNZ.  We can help you decide how your bequest could best meet your wishes.

Please seek professional advice when drawing up your will and suggest the following wording:

"I give to the Crohn's and Colitis New Zealand Charitable Trust for the general (or specific) purposes of Crohn's and Colitis New Zealand the residue of my estate (or the sum of $..........) and I declare that the receipt of a proper officer of Crohn's and Colitis New Zealand shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.

We will ensure your money is used as you have asked in benefiting people affected by Crohn's disease and colitis.
