About our Support Group
Welcome to the Wairarapa Support Group!
The wonderful Wairarapa is north of Wellington over the Rimutaka ranges. We cover from Featherston, Martinborough, Greytown, Carterton, Masterton and anywhere in between.
We are a new group that started in October 2016 – with myself as the co-ordinator. So far we range from early 20’s to late 70’s!
And in our first catch up in last year, it was wonderful to finally talk to other people and know that we are not alone.
One of our group members was diagnosed with the first colonoscopy device in New Zealand.
We want to be a group that can support each other, keep up with the up to date information, and educate Wairarapa about IBD.
We are still wanting to build our group, and start having more meetings/catch up’s. So if you haven’t seen our information around, here are my details for more information
