Would your child like to experience Camp Purple for a day?
Experience Camp Purple is a special opportunity for tamariki aged 5 and up who live with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis and are either too young for our week‑long camp or would simply like to get a feel for camp life before attending the full programme.
Children attending our one‑day experience will join in with the activities planned for the day. Parents and caregivers are welcome to watch the morning activities, and in the afternoon will spend time with one of our camp doctors to learn more about IBD and ask any questions.
Date: Wednesday, 14 January 2027
Capacity: 10 day‑campers, with one parent or caregiver per child
Location: Within driving distance of Auckland (if you are outside this area, please contact us to discuss options)
The day will run from 9am to 5pm. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided, and we can cater for a wide range of dietary needs.
Due to Health and Safety requirements, siblings are not permitted on site. This includes siblings being cared for by another parent.
